Three spots were observed from the product before column purification by TLC.
The Rf value of Compound 1 in the previous paper was 0.27, and after the column purification, the product having an Rf value of 0.39 was judged as the target product and recovered.

1H-NMR
The figure below shows the results of 1H-NMR of Compound 1.
From the result of 1H-NMR, the value was close to the theoretical value, so it was judged that the amide coupling of the target azobenzene was successful.

Three spots were observed from the product before column purification by TLC.
The Rf value of Compound 2 in the previous paper was 0.37, and after the column purification, the product having an Rf value of 0.38 was judged as the target product and recovered.

1H-NMR

The figure below shows the results of 1H-NMR of Compound 2.

From the result of 1H-NMR, the value was close to the theoretical value. Therefore, it was judged that the target tritylation of azobenzene was successful.

The Rf value of Compound 3 in the previous paper was 0.63, and after column purification, the product having an Rf value of 0.72 was judged as the target product and recovered.
